Ages has past in the house of Lang xx

Its March now and spring is springing. The daffodils are all up and making the world look alot more happy for it. We are well and having fun. Ben and I have had two weeks of work, as we had to use up annual leave. We all had the half term off and then the week after. It was glorious and we both felt really rested. I had in the back of my mind to do things to the house but we just needed time out really. As usual I didn't want to go back to work but hey ho it has to be done and to be honest it's not that bad at all :-) I just think that all the very silly people who say "if I won the lottery I would still work" are insane and should give all the money to me as I would stay at home or go shopping for shoes and mugs every day and be very happy xx

Ben is working a little to much :-( but with the recent threat of redundancy he is trying to keep his head down and work as hard a possible so they think he is fabulous! Which I'm sure they do!!! Well at least I hope they do....!

The girls are all enjoying the warmer weather. Emily had another riding lesson last week as she hasn't been for ages and was really missing it. The horses were all a bit bouncy though, probably glad it was sunny for a change. She had a good time though and managed to stay on. There were a few moments when my heart was in my mouth waiting for her to fall.

Samuel on the other hand is slightly broken!! He fractured his leg a few weeks ago playing rugby and has had it in a lovely 'Liverpool red' cast. The cast came off last week but it's still quite sore and he's not allowed to do any sport for a few more weeks! He had to miss his rugby 'Cornwall cup' which he was very sad about and Landrake cross country competition which he was looking forward to. He's managed very well though and even managed to go around The Tate in St Ives and London on school trips - quite a struggle I gather, and made his shoulders ache for days. He had such a fantastic time in London though and even had a good debate with Dan Rogerson, our local MP in the Houses of Parliament, about the break up of the NHS hehe Mr Towe thought that he was amazing and Samuel now has hero status with Liz.

Samuel in the hospital and at home with his leg up (loving every moment until it started to itch and hurt!!)

Tamsyn is getting very old and has grown again!!!! She can be very mature now, when she puts her mind to it. She got such a good report from school. She still needs to get her head down and concentrate but she's getting there and her teacher was pleased with her progress this year. She has had lots of friends over for tea and even had a sleepover this weekend with her friend Emma (first with a friend and not family or Liz!!). She came back full of it. She started a drama club in the town hall on a Thursday night and thinks it's fab. She can't wait to do a play and show us all.

A lot of things have happened over the last three months. Samuel has gone to Germany, luckily before the leg getting broken!! for a week with school and had the most amazing time ever. He took over 500 photos hehe on his new camera. I will have to dig out some photos and show you, lots of snow, lots of messing around and even some yellow snow!! when they met with some huskies and dog sled teams!!

Ben and I went to Bath with Andi and Tanya for a couple of days. We had a really nice and relaxed time. We did some shopping and eating and of course lots of gin :-). Tanya and I were very pleased to go into the Cath Kidston shop. Tan bought a fab carry bag for the beach or shopping and I got (after Ben suggested!!!) a really nice table cloth with little roses on it. We went for Valentine's day and the day after. It was the most romantic thing we have done, since children for ages and ages!!!!!

We even had 'high tea' in the Jane Austin museum YEAH just what Tanya and I needed. I think the boys loved it as well though xxxx I would love to go to bath and have 'high tea' again.

Ben was very lovely and bought me Emma Bridgewater for valentines day!!!!! He even chose it himself without me making him buy it. He got a Sampler mug and tea plate. I do love him xxxx

And he got me roses!! Doesn't it all love so lovely xx

So much has happened in the house of Lang over the last couple of months since I wrote last and I can't remember half of it. I am trying my best know to write all the time as we have stacks happening. I'm going to Germany, It will be birthday season very soon, Emily is going to London on activities week, Samuel is going camping with school, All three are going of with Granny Sandra for a weekend break in May for their birthdays as well, we are having lots of work done to the house (especially the children's bedrooms and the hallway!!).

The sun is out at the moment, the birds are singing in the tree in the garden, all is very quiet and peaceful. I've got time to sit outside now and have a cup of tea before I have to pick the children up!! We are going to do the town trail tonight with the dog as part of their homework. We are going to take lots of lovely pictures of Launceston.
Promise, promise, promise to write and put some pictures on all the time and not get behind again hehe xx
