We are in holiday mode now :-) Time to get the summer house cleaned out ready for the children to play in. They have decided that they want to sleep in it. We are going to make some curtains this weekend and decorate it so that it looks more homely. Samuel is going to mend the broken window! and put up a shelf or two. I found some beautiful lace shelf edging when shopping a few months ago so that can go up as well to finish the look. What we would really like is a gypsy caravan so we are going to make it look as much like one as we can.
We have spent this afternoon with Granny Rosa as it was her birthday yesterday. Aunty Amy was also at Granny's with baby Emma. Amy had made a fabulous cake so we had tea and cake and sang happy birthday many many times.
They didn't get back from the beach until very late last night so they have all been a bit lazy today. An afternoon at Granny's was much needed. The potato competition continues - Emma's tub has produced 43 'spuds' but they are so very small. Emily, Samuel and Tamsyn are leaving theirs for a little longer so that they yield more than 'fairy potatos'.
